Robby White is the president of Coastroad, although he jokes that he has “quit” (and it is pretty rare to see him), and Shallotte is his hometown. Robby’s grandfather, “Mr. Rupe”, built the building that Coastroad is in now back in the late forties as a movie theater. It’s been a lot of things since then.

Robby had the Coastroad showroom remodeled and opened in 1998 to move the gas log and gas grill retail sales out of the R.D. White & Sons front office next door (Serving Brunswick County Since 1925) to accommodate the booming business here in the county, and now Coastroad also provides design & installation service for practically every type of fireplace product. We love to play with fire!™

The day-to-day operations are now run by Tom Parks as the general manager, VP, and fireplace and outdoor kitchen “design guru”. He also directs the continuous training of our team. Liesl his wife handles customer service and manages purchasing, receiving and special orders. Denise Galiano primarily manages new construction projects.

Our showroom is located in an old building in downtown Shallotte, but we handle projects all over the region, up to Surf City, down to Pawleys Island and even over on Bald Head Island.
